ohh yes yes yes, cool retro shot! Good jOB! love it.

It certainly takes me back.
My first interest was what the figure was doing to have out of focus hands – only then did I spot the small TV and retro game which then made me explore the rest of the composition.
The open mag, hanging plants, other clutter and lighting just add so much, and that lampshade – yeuk – hated them then (I had to clean ours) and dont like em now. Spot On Ashley – very good work.

James I was going for a more real life version harsher in some ways too happy you noticed. And Graeme I’m glad I could take you back, funny you mentioned the lampshade it was one of the original props I had which sparked the whole thing.

P.S have a closer look at the magazine very interesting article from a 1970’s Cleo.

Noups it was an assignment that then formed part of my first year second semester studio folio of 10 images, which is then marked as a whole. For that I received a credit. And they’re comments on the photo was that it could still be improved. You cannot please lectures! Lol.

Marco, sorry but no brothers or sisters to this image but I plan to do some more shots along the same line this semester.
