I have to say that I think this was a really lucky shot….....when these little creatures are awake they are very active and to get one to sit still is a real bonus. Thanks for your message.

Thank you to everyone who has made comments on this little frog photograph…. I was a little disturbed to see it’s being watched by two ‘owls’. As I am only a beginner in photography you can imagine that I am very pleased with this photograph and also the one of his brother/sister. I still consider that I was extremely lucky to capture this is such detail. Thanks again

Wowee, thats gotta be the BEST macro frog shot i have EVER seen!, Have you thought about sending it into some nature photo comps or something??, or an info book on frogs, it would make a great accompanying shot for that type of thing… you most definitely should try!? I just love amphibians, you did a great job with this one. In fact he’s so cute I could just kiss him.

I think photography requires a certain level of skill, but sometimes it is more about “luck.” Capturing that certain moment at just the right time or simply being smart enough to have your camera ready to get that unique shot.
