Critiques ARE Welcome and Desired!!!!

This week’s assignment was landscapes. I welcome all critiques as long as they are constructive!

Well, heck, I just realized that my ISO was at 1600 for some reason. That’s part of the problem, I presume! Here are the other deets:
Shutter: 1/640
Exposure Program: Shutter Priority
Aperture: f/4
Focal Length: 92mm
Lens: 70-300mm

As is, no post processing allowed in class!

OOO I like this one too, sweetie!!!

  • This is the other one I chose to submit as the “two best”. This one and the red barn one. So I’m glad you posted on this. ;-)

An S-Curve pathway is always a good feature to create movement as our eyes follow it thru the image.

It is often a good idea to have a Point of Interest at the end of the pathway as a “reward” for our journey. A person on the path or some other POI often works a treat.

Congrats on your feature 19 May 2010

  • Wow, thank you so much! This was one tough assignment for me as I have never done landscapes before, so to be featured for it was totally unexpected. Thank you! It really restored my confidence!
