This is my favorite piece because it turned out so perfect to me. It was a candid shot of my son just feeling the water between his toes. It emotes his adventurous side…his need to be independent and figure things out on his own. I also think it captured his playful side with his little toe wiggling. Theres so much I love about it, the emotion, the moment captured, the coloring, the reflection…..its definitely my masterpiece.

This is photography at it’s best in my (not so humble) opinion (so my wife tells me). I cannot describe what this image does for me without going into a long discourse. I’m glad you saw it and took it. I’d even be willing to bet that it turned out better than you thought at the time.

  • Wow, Chris! Thanks for your so encouraging statement! I too love this photo so much! In fact, its the showcased piece on my webpage and will probably end up on my business cards! Hearing everyone’s opinion on it has really solidified my love of it!

I saw it in the #12 Features …

  • Oh oh, now I get it! Hahah! You have to remember, I may have brown hair now, but I was born platinum blonde and stayed that way for at least 5 years, so thats enough blonde brain cells to last me a life time! ;-)
