Playin' In Puddles

This is my favorite piece because it turned out so perfect to me. It was a candid shot of my son just feeling the water between his toes. It emotes his adventurous side…his need to be independent and figure things out on his own. I also think it captured his playful side with his little toe wiggling. Theres so much I love about it, the emotion, the moment captured, the coloring, the reflection…..its definitely my masterpiece.

This is photography at it’s best in my (not so humble) opinion (so my wife tells me). I cannot describe what this image does for me without going into a long discourse. I’m glad you saw it and took it. I’d even be willing to bet that it turned out better than you thought at the time.

Thats my favorite part of it! Its like his toe was dancing! He was having so much fun playing in the puddles that he couldnt keep his feet still for the photo. Haha! This is my all time fave!
