CG&H 3: Halloween 2008

Just in time for Halloween!!!

An image composed of other images. This is the third installment of this style of art for me. In this one you can see my hand (with a missing thumb due to a near fatal Stiletto Snake bite I suffered earlier this year), a Desert Lyre snake, and of course the apparent skull.

Enjoy.

Yeah that’s why the flow of new material has been so slow. I had 4 surgeries, and was in the hospital for most of April and may, and on until early August. Which really, that is most of what we reptile people refer to as “Herping” season or in other words snake season. Its been a rough year, and I have to learn how to steady my camera with out using my left hand. My left hand was my handling hand, but even with part of my thumb saved its completely functionless as a usable finger of any sort.

i was explaining this to my son last night? as a photographer i know just how miserable that is! i got dry pegged earlier this summer by a copper and was VERY lucky as, being diabetic/epileptic, that could have caused SERIOUS problems…not to mention needing my hands. My HUGE sympathies here Myke….hope u can adapt quickly!
