Don’t laugh…..I bet you talk to animals too!Self portrait with the first orphan wombat I cared for…Her name was Batty!Acrylic painting on canvas.

Awwww How wonderful- I love it x
Oh, this is so wonderful……it tells the story about the friendship of mankind and nature, but at the same time it reminds us that we’re more than small compared to the size of our universe. It appears as if you as well as the wombat are smiling because gazing at the stars is so comfortable in a warm summer night down in AussieLand……….:-) This work combines the wisdom of heart with a big smile!Great!
this is a painting of a time where I felt completely happy and a part of nature. But wombats can have that effect on you. She went back to the wild very slowly, kept coming back for visits. I’ve cared for another ten wombats but always remember the first.I was a warm summer night too!
:-)A touching story indeed!
This is absolutely gorgeous. I have fallen in love with everything about this painting…

I believe you. I explain things to my animals all the time. :))
