Many of these little birds where In a paddock just outside Sedan, SA.
This proved a stretch with the Canon 300mm L Lens plus a 1.4 extender on my Canon 30D

These birds remind me of Weipa, right near the top of Queensland where they are prolific near the coast. Such a beautiful photo!
