Andy, this is simply spellbinding magic at play here…over the sea and across the ripples of suntouched shore, even glinting off wet sand and tips of rocks!!!!
What a brilliant, gifted master of the perfect moment you are. And your handling of light is always impressive.
The perspective and distance in this gives an HDR feel to it…I feel I could reach our and scoop my hand in the water and feel the cool wet sand beneath my feet, with a faint sea breeze in my hair.
Oh, and I had to do one thing before I commented. I had to add it to my favourites!

This was shot at a beach in Shearwater on the north coast of Tasmania, just as the sun was rising. Canon 5D – 17-40mm lens with reverse ND grad filter to help with the light.

Once they wrote of the end of the trail… Land’s end. The end of the earth. It was a lure to the discoverer instinct we’ve got packed inside. From here in Lancaster, Pennsylvania… I cannot think of a farther place away than Tasmania… where the trail might finally end.
