Broken Dreams
I uploaded a couple of images a little while ago.
They were “OK” but neither had the impact I was looking for so I combined them with a little texture etc.
A different feel from the originals, I think??

My question was about beginnings and direction and sort of knowing when to stop. I guess I was looking for a creative “process” rather than a jumble of experimentations.

Now what you did with this image you consider a jumble of experimentation is an awesome piece of work. I totally understand that when you put layers on an image you have no idea what the result will be until you hit the execute button, and use the masking here and there, but that’s the chemistry of Photoshop. Scientists experiment with chemicals the same way. When you experiment with your images the most important thing you can do is “WRITE IT DOWN”!!!!! I have a book of notes which takes up about 1000 pages, don’t try to remember what you have done in your head, it doesn’t work. This changes your experimentation to creative process.

OMG Andy now this is some serious editing work…I love that you took the 2 perspectives of the chello player and incorporated it with the paper texture…definately makes it very unique and totally original, bravo!

This is awesome! It’s as different from the originals as can be—it’s mystical now, spiritual and has so much for emotion now than either photo did by itself.
