Started life as a watercolour. The roots of the tree are secured in my Scottish/celtic past and the branches are my hopes and dreams and aspirations.
The translucent ribbons that float across the image are external influences, sometimes changing things and sometimes not.
I recolourised my painting in Photoshop, added a few Mary Quantish flowers and sujected it to some sumi-e interferrance!
