Artist's Description

1 cup flour, 1/2 cup warm water, a pinch of salt and a little oil are the ingredients for the dough; cover it for an hour and then roll the pastry as thin as possible, put it on baking paper on a baking plate and brush it with melted butter; spread some salt and Nigella Sativa over it and bake it until golden in the oven. Break it then or cut it before baking it into stripes to serve it with wine, soup or salad or with cheese, olives or antipasti. If You put some slices of garlic into the melting butter, the snack gets another lovely flavour; and adding a pinch of cayenne or pepper it’s getting a little sharper note of flavour; very lovely also: a pinch of thyme or rosemary; prepare the spices in a mortar
