THIS IS JUST ONE OF MY MARINARRA SAUCES by 


WHENEVER I MAKE SPEGHETTI, I LIKE TO MAKE HOME MADE MARINARRA SAUCE. IF I’M PLANNING IT FROM THE BEGINNING, I END UP WITH THREE MEATS AND ALL KINDS OF THINGS IN IT TO MAKE IT COME OUT SO DELICIOUS. WHEN MY MOM DECIDES SHE WANTS SPEGHETTI, HER SAUCE COMES OUT WATERY AND DOESN’T STICK TO THE PASTA. SO, THE LAST TIME SHE WANTED SPEGHETTI, I CONVINCED HER TO LET ME MAKE THE SAUCE. SHE WAS AFFRAID I WAS GOING TO GO OVERBOARD ON IT, SO I HAD TO KEEP IT TONED DOWN SOMEWHAT FOR HER. SO, “THIS IS JUST ONE OF MY MARINARRA SAUCES”. I STARTED WITH ONE POUND OF GROUND BEEF, 95% LEAN AND ONE POUND OF GROUND PORK. I COOKED THE MEATS TOGETHER UNTIL THEY WERE BOTH DONE, THEN I DRAINED THE GREASE OFF THE MEATS BY USING A WIRE STRAINER. THEN I ADDED ONE WHOLE WHITE ONION, ONE RED BELL PEPPER, SEVERAL MUSHROOMS SLICED AND COOKED THEM WITH THE MEATS. ONCE THE VEGIES WERE DONE, I ADDED ONE 12 OUNCE CAN OF TOMATOE SAUCE AND ONE 8 OUNCE CAN OF TOMATOE PASTE. THEN I ADDED ONE SCHILLINGS SPEGHETTI SEASONINGS PACKET ALONG WTIH COURSE GROUND GARLIC SALT, COURSE GROUND BLACK PEPPER, LEMMON PEPPER, SEASONED SALT AND ONE BAY LEAF. I LET IT COOK ON LOW HEAT FOR 4 HOURS AND IT CAME OUT OOOOOO SOOO GOOOD. I USED MY KODAK EASYSHARE Z710 CAMERA TO GET THIS SHOT OF THE POT OF SAUCE ON THE STOVE. THE CAMERA’S WIDEST LENS APPROXIMATION IS 38MM. THAT IS AS WIDE ANGLE AS THIS CAMERA IS CAPABUL OF GOING.

  • HEY D, THIS ISN’T EVEN MY BEST SAUCE, BUT IT SURE IS GOOD. MY BEST SAUCE INVOLVES, GROUND BEEF, GROUND HOT ITALIAN SAUSAGE AND GROUND BUFFALO. AS WELL AS CANNED ROASTED PEPPERS AND LOTS OF GARLIC. BRING ON THE KOLACHEEEEEEES. LOL BOB ;)

  • THANKS DAVE, NO, I DON’T MIND. WHEN I WAS IN BUSINESS SCHOOL, A LONG TIME AGO, MY BUSINESS ENGLISH CLASS HAD AN ASSIGNMENT WHERE EACH STUDENT HAD TO GIVE AN ORAL REPORT ON THEIR FAVORITE SUBJECT. MY FAVORITE SUBJECT WAS PHOTOGRAPHY, MY SECOND CHOICE WAS COOKING. SO I DID AN ORAL REPORT ON PHOTOGRAPHY FOR MY FIRST ASSIGNMENT AND TOOK UP THE ENTIRE HOUR AND 45 MINUTES OF THE CLASS. THE REPORT WAS ONLY SUPPOSED TO BE 20 MINUTES LONG. MY TEACHER LOVED MY PRESENTATION SO MUCH, SHE WANTED TO CANCELL HER SECOND PERIOD CLASS AND HAVE ME CONTINUE ON INTO THAT NEXT CLASS. SO ON MY SECOND REPORT, I WAS ENVOLVED WITH TWO OTHER STUDENTS, FEMALES, AND I FIXED MY SPEGHETTI SAUCE AND PASTA. I FORGET WHAT THE TWO GIRLS COOKED. ANYWAY, I GOT AN A+ ON BOTH MY REPORTS AND THE SPEGHETTI ONLY LASTED LONG ENOUGH FOR THE CLASS I WAS IN. ONCE THE WORD GOT AROUND ABOUT THE SAUCE I HAD PEOPLE COMING UP TO ME AND ASKING FOR MY RECIPE. I HAVE MADE ENOUGH AT ONE TIME TO FEED 55 MOTORCYCLE CLUB MEMBERS, WAY BACK IN 1984 AND THEY WERE STILL WANTING MORE. THAT BATCH ONLY COST ME $35 TO MAKE. THANKS FOR THE COMPLIMENTS AND I HOPE YOU ENJOY MY RECIPE. BOB :)
