Drawing, 6.5’’ x 5’’
Graphite pencil, 3H > 9B
140 gsm cartridge paper,

I used more eraser blending on this drawing, especially on the lips and skin, it enabled me to create a smooth feel to it, especially to capture the glossy effect on the lips. Also the use of a 9B pencil was used by me for the first time,I think it helped to create depth on the hair, jawline and background, and most definitely the eyes.

This is wonderful work. I’m a big fan of eraser blending too and I do alot of work with an 8b – never tried a 9b though.
