Freelance Artist for 7 years, Just graduated with an Honours degree in Fine Art
I know, ive done things the wrong way round lol :)
I am currently going through a transitional period with my work and moving away from traditional portraiture, and leaning more towards a more politically motivated way of working which incorporates the ethics of dehumanisation, the effects of wealth and capitalistic values within modern lifestyles.
I still love producing portraits, I feel they are immensely personal, especially if you know the people youre sketching, I am attempting to incorporate an element of portraiture in my current work, whilst mainting a somewhat darker side to the imagery, usually involving symbolism to portray a sence of dystopia. I am currently approaching the idea of tragedy hidden amidst a sense of beauty, i feel it has brought a whole new level of understanding into my work.
Available for commissions, please visit my website :) Thanks
