The Overcomer
“That’s a great conversation going down there in the water!” Ophelia hooted! Her acute sense of hearing led her to a giant jar filled with colourful guppies which were busy chatting about how the changing climate had affected the water condition. However, she stood by the rim of the jar, contemplating to join in or not. For that, she had to enter into the waters to be part of the robust conversation. “I’m an Overcomer!” Ophelia reasoned hard within. “Maybe after this experience, my phobia of water would be gone forever!” She hooted in great faith!

Oh the colours/tones in this are just lovely Ellen… Ophelia is looking very confident here ~ looks like her phobia has just about disappeared! :o)

Thanks Karen!! She is taking her first step of faith….there’s always that first time to everything…I remembered my first time havin to take public transport all by myself at age of 9…that was scary for me :D

Thanks Julie!! Normally I dont start with any story in my head…I just take the photo…and decide what comes next…it so happened that when I placed her on the rim(her back was supported by some plants behind), the wing came up and one of her tiny feet was raised too….so I thought up the story there and then:D
