With the dawn of the S.U.V., or Sport Utility Vehicle, here in the United States the staion wagon has become a memory from the past. Along with the station wagon went the traditional woodie wagons too.
These lumbering but yet loveable old relics recall a time of peace and prosperity, of less hustle and bustle and of more of innocent age. These pre-war family guardians paved the way for the way for their more modern and yet less elegant bretheren.
Fortunately there are a few folks out there that find value in collecting and sharing these wonderful machines with us. Thank goodness for those who preserve a bit of the past for those in the future.
