How can you not fall in love with this striking Austin Cooper S. Why everytime I see this great little car, I just want to pick it up and give it a hug! But don’t let the cute Union Jack on top it’s roof or the Snoopy and Woodstock characters fool you, this Cooper S is all business under the bonnet!

As photographed at the annual 2012 Woodie Palooza charity event benefitting the Ada Jenkins food bank.

I have seen video of a Cooper with a Hyabusa {SPELLING?) engine. A wild ride!

i see that you took this in the colonies… Cool looking little car… Well Done, Steve!

  • Ha ha, yes, I was deep in the heart of North Carolina. Thank you for your kind words John!

    Like this shot, beauty!

  • Thanks a million Bill! You should have heard this run. There was a real Abarth there too and at the end of the day they got into it, racing each other around the grounds. The Abarth ultimately prevailed though…

Superb shot Steve. My youngest son would cut an arm off for this. He is currently rebuiding one from a rusted wreck. It is at the moment at the fairly rusty wreck stage, but he will get there.

  • Thank you so much Colin!

Please tell your son from me to also not loose hope. I know how difficult it can be to see a project through to the end when it’s in that rusty, crusty state…but it will be worthwhile in the end! My daily driver is a modified 2005 Cooper S (BRG/White) that I absolutely love!

I hope to add to the garage someday an original Mini as well as an AC Cobra (replica). I could only hope to have the funds for a real one.
