Found this in an old sketchbook of mine, from way back in 2002. The end result of my becoming carried away with some tubes of acryllic paint I’d recently acquired (or, in other words, ‘trying to get my Jackson Pollock on’) turned into what appears to be a portrait somewhat resembling that of George Washington on the front of a US $1 bill.

I added some slight definition to his outline with black indian ink when I rediscovered the page and there you have it. Ol’ Wooden Teeth shows his true colors. (Shadows and fog, and all that … he was, after all, a Freemason. Who knows what he was really up to?)
