Maybe it was the hunger or the heat, or both; but it didn’t seem to matter how far we travelled across that scorched earth, the rain and the clouds seemed to travel in front of us.

Marquerite thank you for your comment. It is actually a photograph of the line between different colours of paint on the side of a boat. Rust is starting to bubble up under where the paint meet.
