    Though, honestly, an event horizon wouldn’t look anything like that. In fact, at the event horizon, you would probably see the back of your head, as light is bent around in a full circle. Also, you would be dead in infinity shortly after taking this picture.

    Yes it is a boat with a red upper portion and a blue lower portion seperated by a white line. This image is post processed more than others. Thanks for the comments.
