Pangea

Pangea, Greek for “all land”. A supercontinent that existed during the late Palaeozoic and early Mesozoic Eras (about 300 million to 200 million years ago), and which comprised of two large continental masses: Gondwana to the south and Laurasia to the north. Although originally one ‘C’ shaped landmass It broke up and over time formed the continents as we see them today.
