Nice positioning. I’m struggling with knowing when to ‘vignette’ my images, I think you have down it well here, it really focuses you on the subject. (Oh, and that grass looks soooo inviting.)

This is almost surreal. Excellent technique, a very crisp shot. Lovely use of stylisitc devices like the rule of thirds.

I like that you add quotes to your shots. The presentation is great… interesting that the horizon is almost in the middle. The presence and curious bend of the tree is a find. Seeing the green makes me feel like I finally reached my destination.

MHO on hdr – it’s sort of over enhancement of an image. It’s like adding more artificial dramatic effect to a raw image. I personally would never use hdr.
And again, it looks attractive but less natural.

i still can’t get over how amazing this looks!

And way down here, one more admirer comments: Love the wind-blown shape of the tree and the way you captured it. The subtle use of HDR lends beauty to the dynamic range, rather than becoming the subject itself. Just all-round great photo.
