Lachlan Swamp - Centennial Park by

Centennial Park, Sydney, Australia.

Lachlan Swamp emerges from a spring. The water really is tha colour due to iron sulfides in the ground. It is an area in the park which has been looked after, filled with paperbark trees and ferns, overhung by fruit bats with their noisy squabbling. I didn’t want to leave – I felt like I was in some beautiful wild place. Well, I do live in Sydney, so this is pretty close, for me.

Born in London, grew up in Perth, Western Australia, now living in Sydney.
I have always loved photography but only started to take it as seriously as I now do around 2008.
Mostly, my pics are animals and urban scenes, but really I will make a photo of anything that I deem suitable; because, I love variety and making different images.
