Born in London, grew up in Perth, Western Australia, now living in Sydney.
I have always loved photography but only started to take it as seriously as I now do around 2008.
Mostly, my pics are animals and urban scenes, but really I will make a photo of anything that I deem suitable; because, I love variety and making different images.

Nothing more to add, lets others come to their own conclusions. A profound image for me, Paul, strikes out at the core of my spirit.

  • Thank you, Pamela.

Beautiful and sad work, Paul – puts me in mind of a concentration camp.

  • Thank you. Yes it does, though it isn’t one. I think that the title means that on the other side of the wire is the time before the scarring horror.

Ditto Colleen… U turned something that most people see it as Caged in…Dark…even Ugly and Brutal…to something amazing…
so this creates alot of different kinds of FEELINGS at the same time…
your tones, and lighting are SUPERB btw :) very nice work.

  • Thanks, jacqleen! It does seem to produce a complex of feeling, brutal but even a little nostalgic I think. It’s amazing how much can be packed into one simple image. I think this is a personal favourite.
