I think trees in the evening shots look nicer in black and white than colour…well, I like this anyway. How about you?

they totally look better in color. i like them in color too sometimes, but only if the situation is right, but usually trees are around a lot of clutter, like small plants
and tall grass and such. but i agree with you, they have more to offer, specially
if they’re backlit like the one you did here. i have a tree photo as well similar to that, except in asymmetrical composition. i think you did well with this one though. one thing i would’ve done is minimize the black, negative space in the bottom of the frame. but other than that, it’s very chilly and kind of like a horror film ad. very mysterious and dark. i love it. oh by the way, congratulations on the feature!

  • they look better in colour, and you like them in colour too sometimes…? If I’m being slow. excuse me because my vision is all funny, so I might not be reading that right. I’m just glad I can touch type right now! I’m glad you like it, and thank you for the advice.
I have a lot of tree pictures in colour, but I’m tryining to move away from experimental amateur to being a little more arty at the moment, but I have a bit of a balance, and I appreciate your input
