This is the view of a friends property located in the Riverina district of NSW Australia.
I like this photo because it demonstrates the vastness of the country, the lack of people, buildings, noises – you could easily go days without seeing anyone out there.
A storm had just gone through the area, and the rainbow symbolises to me that there is always hope after rain… often the country needs the rain and every drop is so precious.

Has worked very well. The composition is good, I like the offset sign and you have drawn out the vastness and isolation here. The hint of rainbow is also good.

This was taken with my new Cybershot…. it is still a point and shoot but hopefully I will be able to use more of the features soon!
