This will be a toughie to view. This is a panoramic picture of the Nubble Lighthouse in Ogunquit Maine taken at dusk two days before xmas 2012.
This panoramic shot is composed of 11 horizontal pictures. Originally also done in HDR – so 55 pictures in all. Alas – the HDR colouring was too hard to blend and match. I abandoned the assembly of the HDR version (still working on it – who knows it may come good one day) and stuck with slightly under exposed pictures.
The interesting part about this picture was to capture both a sunset, the moon (enhanced though), some daylight, some azure sky and the xmas lights on the lighthouse itself.
I am pretty happy with the final result.
Nikon D300s, 11 pictures blended together in CS5, f/4 1/30sec, ISO200, -1EV, 14mm with Tamron Superwide 10-24mm.
