Lake Waihola is located about 30 minutes south of Dunedin – and is a beautiful, peaceful picnic spot. The playground is actually in the lake, and a beautiful foggy morning, on a crisp winters day, gave rise to this image.
Taken on an Olympus E30 with a 14-54mm lens.

Beautiful, love the tonality and simplicity
It was a beautiful scene to be there – the tranquillity in the photo is only a fraction of the tranquillity at Waihola in this day. But as soon as I got to the lake I saw this photo and had to snap it… I only regret not having an 8mm lens to take a wider shot. Thanks for the lovely comment.
