Located about an hour south of Dunedin in New Zealand’s South Island and just at the gateway to the wonderful Catlins Area, is Kaka Point.
A great place to experiment with filters.
This is NOT a photoshopped picture, this is straight from the camera. A IR Filter was used on a 60 second exposure.
The unusual colours are just accentuated by the unusual scene!
This is only the second time I’ve used this filter, so it’s all experimentation.
Kaka Point is one of my favourite locations here, and there’s so much to see. Seals, penguins, beach scapes… The world is endless!
