in this libretto
I’ve hit light like the earlier sense
Just the rise
in this star’s falling show
And the part I want to live
was in the lines spoke acts ago
Let me return there, and sing forever my beginning
Here, the end, my voice grows weak
Moreso each time
When I lose a note within the whole
and wrench my neck
to expell a love in tonations fine
Warm pink has turned a secondary mud,
mottled purple from cold
Dismayed, the blood pumps, but it pumps
I’m dying from Aid.
half empty of breath.
Like I was that strong

This is excellent poetry, obviously crafted with love and skill, a masterful use of language that reaches out to touch our minds and hearts. It’s a song – somebody play the music please.

I remember this, had me scared for a while, and it took you ages to tell me I was wrong in my assumption.
It’s a song? I just assumed the musical references was because of your love of musicals. It would make a great neo-folk song, maybe a little EBM. 7 minutes long!
