Busy Caterpillar by Susan Blevins

Captured this little fellow on my butterfly weed in the early spring. Not sure what he is. Could turn into a Monarch but that is just my guess. Challenge entry. Taken with my Canon Rebel XS 1000D.

I have been taking pictures for about 8 years but still am learning. I live in Pocahontas, AR USA….I love the beauties of nature that God has given us to enjoy. These things are my passion: God, Family, Friends, Nature, Photography. I hope some of my pictures may inspire you and that you can see the beauties of God reflected in my pictures because to Him be all the glory and praise for creating them.

Oh you have to keep your eye on him. He looks like he’s ready to attach himself to a plant. Once he does that, break off the plant and bring him in the house. You will be amazed to watch him form his chrysalis and then turn into a butterfly as time advances. It’s a must see!

  • Thanks so much Lee Anne!!!…he is already gone but I will remember that….I didn’t know you could do bring them in the house….cool….Susan
