For a short while, I was going to be part of a growing natural history museum in Missoula, and I was wanting to recreate some of the old sea life that used to live in that area millions of years ago. The first is the coelacanth, which is a fish found still living today. This was my attempt at inking something that would be worth putting in a cut and dry science book. This is the first of three fish that I attempted at doing in this same fashion. The original of this piece now resides in the natural history museum in Missoula, MT if you ever wanted to check it out.
