After heavy winter rains the stream from Koiahi Gulch in Makua Valley empties into the ocean here forming a sandbar just beyond the “Pray for Sex” rock. Large winter swells breaking on this sandbar have produced some of the biggest and best bodysurfing barrels I have ever seen.
