From The Hadron Collider, Arise

Gyration of the pupils
Set smoldering Cleopatra’s tomb,
The look, an annexation
A burning neurotoxin,
A fetus bathed in boiling mucus
Stripped in the metal womb

Naked singularity, fashioned
The vortex writhing, torn
In loss of dark obscurity
Now bathed in light, saintly
It rears its convex skull skyward
And shouts out as if to morn

I am bombarded, on all sides
The voices, the looks, they make me,
They are me, and I am them,
At the superluminal point of no return,
Or is it the point of beginning?
Where the fetus grew and broke
The metal barriers that held it captive
Its event horizon was sanative

The earth and moon could not escape
Drowned in what they loved,
How they watched through thickest panes
Until the infant cloud became
Nimbus, the destroyer of worlds
The halo bearing Nameless Terror,
Alight in darkness
