Dogma
My latest Photoshop piece created for my brother’s 18th birthday.
Dogma is from a Yu-Gi-Oh card and is not my own character
I used a crappy scanned card for reference so not all the details are exactly the same (as pointed out by my bro). I created the character in a whole new pose.
This was an experiment with lighting and form without resorting to an outline.
I was pretty happy with the outcome. I hope you like it too!
Any criticism and ideas for improvement will be well appreciated.

Have I mentioned I hate you lately? j/k Man this is good! I think you’ve done a real awesome job on the lighting here and the sword’s glare. Is that a glow effect around it?

Yup, it’s a glowy effect. I just duplicated the shine layer and then gaussian blurred the crap out of it. Thnx heaps for the comment!
