Artist Statement:
Car nuggets are to cars as chicken nuggets are to chickens, they are the essence of car, all the suface seduction and formal beauty without the guts and bones of the real thing. They are a sort of concentrated “carness” that is incredibly appealing but not actually useful.

Well, they certainly caught my eye as I wandered around Melbourne’s CBD on the way to Docklands! These were a taster for the car show I stumbled over later that day …

    I was impressed to find a sculptor with such a quirky sense of humour, i think that was a big part of their appeal LOL

    it was CLOSED & I was really annoyed, but then I found the classic car show, so i forgave them
