I breed appaloosas & quarter horses (small scale breeder), but in the past owned/showed pinto horses. Further to my horse interests, I collect & show model horses plus I am the registrar for the Australian International Model Horse Club (which requires me to know all about breed standards for all horses, as we follow the guidelines for “real” horses – my computer files are full of rules/regulations for this). I share my home with 3 calico persians, 2 rabbits & about 600 model horses!
I’ve re-discovered my enjoyment of photography & am now interested in learning more about the skills & techniques of digital & film work. I no longer write much poetry, but have a number of works I wrote a decade or so back, which I may also share.
Although I’ve lived in Australia since January 1987, I was born in New Zealand & still consider it “home”. However, I’m here in Victoria to stay as I couldn’t envision possibly living anywhere else.

Love’s messenger rides near, / with errands sweet and dear,
