A very large family of which includes 8 children from Black Springs, NSW, lived here long ago. Eventually all the children moved out to further their education at university…the house now stands abandoned.

This house needed more. It needed a story to go with it. I then made a call for help. The very wonderful and talented writer, Anne Van Alkemade had accepted my challenge. That being a short story inspired by my image and a few sketchy details.

My image is now complete. You can read Anne’s story here

The original image, taken by me, has been worked using the pin hole effect and together with one of my textures and brushes (from Brusheezy). I have created the drama that I wanted to achieve when I origanlly saw the house.
