A big Apology from me.

Its been quite some time…maybe coming up for a year now..that I have visited the RedBubble site. I’ve been active since August 2007 and RedBubble played such a big part in my life.

My apology is to my followers…sorry I haven’t put up work
My apology is to the people I follow….sorry I haven’t seen your work over this time
My apology is to myself…I sorry that I left this lovely place for so long.

To all and myself…I will make sure it doesn’t happen again.

It’s been a fast and action packed year, and such a pleasure to celebrate our Birthday this month. Here’s what we got up to.

New Group

Just in case you may have missed it, a new group has started up.…

For those who have not had much or in fact any experience with the Lens Reversal Technique I have to say, it’s quite fun and can be creative. You don’t have to venture far from your home to get some cool shots and it can be done without spending money on fancy expensive lenses.

When I tried out this technique several months ago, it was purely experimental. I read about it in a local (Aust) photographic magazine, and thought it would be cool to try. This method has been described as the ‘poors man’s macro’. Personally I’m finding it more than that. The very shallow depth of field is amazing and you can become quite creative using it.
