Fraser Island
Apologies, just a happy snap. :-)
Such a wonderful break. Adventure at every turn. The only way to get around is by 4WD. Here on the beach, it’s like a highway of 4WD’s, people and planes….yes even aeroplanes use this part of the beach to land. Never been to a place like it.
Shot taken through a rather dirty windscreen.

what a wonderful shot! Not a happy snap at all…. rather the product of a photographers eye… What isi that woman carrying I wonder? At first i thought she’d been fishing….. but perhaps it’s her shoes!

So kind Rosemary. Well I was really happy to be there…lol
We’d just be driving at about 80klm/h before we approached the people. It’s so easy to drive on…which can be more than I can say for the other tracks. We took an hour to dig ourselves from a track to Lake MacKenzie to Eurong…hard work, but we had a ball with our mates, we couldn’t stop laughing.
Shoes, no…it’s seaweed.

I so love Fraser Island – and wish I could go back with my own 4wd! Thanks Lorraine for sharing this one!

Hmmm, not sure about digging my own tracks though – sounds like too much hard work :)
Lorraine Creagh replied
It was hard, I guess we should have gone prepared with a snatch strap. Would have made it a wee bit easier.
