Wild mustang herd shot at Return to Freedom in Lompoc, California, USA as the sun was setting late in the afternoon/early evening.
These magnificent horses are primarily Sulpher Springs horses rescued from a round up by the BLM. They now live with their family bands at RTF.
The herd was running about and kicking up their heels….and taunting the family band in the adjoining “space”!
I just love these horses and spend a lot of time photgraphing them when I’m at RTF.
