Challenge Winner: Equine Art and Photography 2x

Nikon D200 body. Nikon 70-300mm lens. Shot at 300mm.

Chief, my absolute all time favourite mustang stallion, shot at Return to Freedom, a wild horse sanctauary, in Lompoc, California, US.

I was trying out new plugins I bought for Photoshop and am pretty satisfied with the results! Post processing done using OnOne Software.

    Beautiful! We had the privilege to see Isadora Cruce from the Return to Freedom Ranch in California, along with her sister as well. Both beautiful Medicine Hat brown and white pintos

  • Thank you Tracey….much appreciated!! I have a great image of Isadora Cruce as well..I’ll post it sometime soon. Isadora was the model for a Breyer horse last year…great honour for her and Neda who owns RTF. Were you in California when you saw them? I go to RTF every year for a week or so…it’s a very special time for me and great to be with Neda, Kimerlee and Tony who arrange the time there.
