I spotted this stencil on the way to shops in South Melbourne a few weeks back and have been itching to get a shot of it since.
I had the opportunity this weekend.
Cross processed and cropped from a RAW image.
I looks amazing on canvas :
melbourne graffiti stencil street urban cross robot before rights process robots fight sjem do
You know I g`damn love this!
Cheers Scotty – check out Mel’s comment below, what d’ya reckon ? Got some time ?
Hmmmm… not sure if I ‘get’ this. Personally I would’ve thought human rights are more important message!Great photo though, nice composition and I like the dullness of the colour.
In a strange way, this clever little bit of graffiti is about human rights – don’t you think ?
Someone has been peeking through my windows….I’ve been abusing my robots all weekend…hehe….rooomba and dirt dog hate me!
I love this the sentiment in the stencilled words….and you’ve framed it well so that the eye sees the words first. The only way this could be improved is to have a robot being abused on the footpath :) Maybe Scott can help? hehe
Thanks for your words Mel, and I think you’re onto something about Scott there …
So Asimovsurreal is the deal my good man
Awesome!!!…….only as smart as the electrical cord extension.
Yes Asimov saw this coming wouldn’t you say?:0)
Yep. Totally Asimov inspired.
This stencil made me feel like I live in the future more than anything else. I’m still disappointed that there aren’t hover cars everywhere.
Excellent! I love stencils, especially funny ones. I actually used to spray a few myself, it’s been a quite while.
Oh really ? Care to share anymore info about that ?
It’s just blinding logic you know. Really.
Ahhh yes of course…Just putting the thought of human rights in our minds is the exact point.I’m really not that bright you see.Very subtle and very very clever.
This makes me miss Melbourne :)
