Awesomness isn’t it ? Thank you Ed and thank you RB for having a canvas sale a few weeks back. Believe it interwebians, the canvas prints are quality.

I do have a suggestion too – I reckon this print would look extra superb if a black ‘frame’ was printed around the image so that the edges of the canvas were black when mounted, whatd’ya reckon ?

Black edges would look very nice on that particular image, even nicer if it were the darkest colour of the image. I may have to get into this canvas buying, looks very nice.

Darkest colour from the image YES
Top suggestion there monsier ruby.

Is your camera doing crazy orange things or is it really that colour?
sjem © replied
I had to take these in very unprofessional cirvumstances so the orangeness is def exagerrated, the image is a lovely combination of gorgeous warm hues.

That’s alright then.

I’ll get some betterer shots when it’s ‘hung’ with my other canvas

I was wondering about actually attaching a timber frame around the sides of one of my canvas prints….would finish it off nicely and not too tricky to do

Yep – i’ve had the same thought soxy, i’ll let you know if i do something like that.

hey sjem nice canvas print image…yeah a front border with side edges in black would def suit. i get all my canvas printing done locally in sydney with print edges generally bleeding off that i set up filewise with any added borders etc in P/S if thats what im going for aesthetically….i also stretch back canvas prints myself as im anal about the way they look as a finished product! (dave makes frames for me).
...you could buy some black water based acrylic paint and carefully paint the sides only yourself & no-one would be non the wiser (even without any front border the sides in black alone would make the image appear more seamless) but for lasting archival print quality…i prob wouldnt mess with it on second thought! it looks fab regardless.
