About the artist :

SJArt stands for [Sabine Jacobsen Art]

I was born in Germany, year 1969 and I grew up, studied, worked and lived most of my life in Luxembourg.
The last 10 years I lived abroad.
5 years in The Netherlands, last 5 years in Spain.

Today I live in the countryside, close to the Orange Blossom Coast, a stretch called Costa del Azahar. I have the mountains close and on clear days I can see the sea.

I live and work on our little Orange Farm, sharing the place with my partner, 4 dogs, 5 chicken and 1 cockerel :)

A perfect place for any artist.

I am a self-taught artist, though I took evening courses in drawing and sculpture, in my early twenties at the Lycee des Arts et Metiers, GD Luxembourg.

Despite a technical background in printing, computing and commercial studies, I never lost sight of my real passion, art in all its beauty.
