SJArt stands for [Sabine Jacobsen Art]

I was born in Germany, but studied, worked and lived most of my life in Luxembourg and am of luxemburgish nationality.

My professional career started in commercial studies, then I moved abroad and worked many years in the printing business and information technology.

Since 2000 I lived in The Netherlands for 5 years, then 3 years in Barcelona and since 2008 in Benicarlo, Costa Azahar, spain.

We run a small orange farm, located between the mountains and the sea.

We have goats, geese, chicken, pigs, dogs and make our own organic orange marmalade.

The love of nature and all that comes with it reflects my life today. Inbetween all the farmwork and animals I try to paint as much as I can.

The art is mainly abstract, trying to create spontaneous works of art, rich in color and motion, with the aim of creating a vision of my feelings and emotions, or simply just colors and movement, non-objective and without any meaning.

I followed evening classes at the “Lycee des Arts et Metiers” (Lyceum of Arts) in Luxembourg, sculpture and drawing, but I am a self taught artist.
