“COME FORTH INTO THE LIGHT OF THINGS,
LET NATURE BE YOUR TEACHER”
This is in Topsham, Devon, ENGLAND. My Dad used to have his Dinghy here, which he paddled out to his beloved red sailing boat called ‘Tarka’. Even in his eighties he still road a bicycle to this place and used to sit on his boat and enjoy the peace of this lovely place. After my Dad died, my brother kept ‘Tarka’ in good shape – and ‘Tarka’ is still moored on the estuary here. If you come to Topsham you will see my Dad’s little red sailing boat moored.
This picture is dedicated to my Dad.

A dinghy is a type of small boat, often carried or towed for use as a ship’s boat. My Dad always had his sailing boat called ‘Tarka’ moored here in this area in Topsham. Even into his late seventies he would row out in his dinghy to his sailing boat – and even in his early eighties he would still cycle to the Estuary and loved to sit on his sailing boat and relax in the serenity of this area. We lived in Topsham before the M5 was built – now you can see all the traffic speeding down to Cornwall from this location.
