Artist's Description

“YOUR TIME IS LIMITED,
SO DON’T WASTE IT LIVING SOMEONE ELSE’S LIFE.
DON’T BE TRAPPED BY DOGMA –
DON’T LET THE NOISE OF OTHER’S OPINIONS
DROWN OUT YOUR OWN INNER VOICE.
AND MOST IMPORTANT,
HAVE THE COURAGE TO FOLLOW YOUR HEART AND INTUITION.
THEY SOMEHOW ALREADY KNOW
WHAT YOU TRULY WANT TO BECOME”

Steve Jobs

I use a Lumix panasonic point and shoot camera

There is a fascinating place in Austin Texas USA (East Side Drive-in), which has an atmosphere of the ‘sixties’ era, where caravans (trailers) are parked around in a circle, selling all kinds of food and people sit in the middle enjoying their food. It’s known as a vintage oasis of community events, film, music, cuisine, and camaraderie. It has a wonderful community feeling. We ate at ‘The Vegan Yacht’. There is a small outdoor movie next to this, where people park their cars, bring their camping chairs, picnics and relax while enjoying the movie – it has such a delightful ambience. I think a lot of students in the area enjoy this setting too. I like the feeling of the 60’s era and that is why that quote by Steve Jobs really speaks to me.

I had to photograph the British Fish n’ Chip caravan!!

I have changed the title name to ‘Britain’ instead of ‘England’ (as I had origianlly named it), as if offended someone here on RB who felt that I should not be calling this photo ‘England’ because she informed me that the flag on the van is British and not English.
