ASTRONOMY COMPELS THE SOUL TO LOOK UPWARDS,
AND LEADS US FROM THIS WORLD TO ANOTHER"
Plato

This photo was taken in 1990 with an inexpensive older camera. It was a fascinating discovery that had been uncovered at that time in Santorini (Akrotiri), Greece, where scientists, archeologists and historians were uncovering a whole village ( ancient Minoian village) buried under the dust of centuries, actually 3,000 years old – the fresco artwork, the pots, the plumbing systems were all astonishingly well preserved.
