“EVERYONE IS THE AGE OF THEIR HEART”
This is my father-in-law Mike Mills shortly before he died in January 2010. He loved sitting in the sun at the assisted living place in Orem Utah. He was such a lovely man who played the piano until his last days – all the elderly people at this place (The Seville) would sing and clap in joy as Mike played many good old traditional songs.
Whenever I visited he would play some good old English songs that reminded me of my parents’ era. He had played them during his war years while stationed in England ready for D-Day.
I edited their notes and published a book about the lives of my parents-in-law and it touched me so deeply to see and feel how life was lived in those days leading up to and during the Second World War. Mike was a brave man, a football Star in the 1930’s and such a dear wonderful human being, who made people feel happy with his sparkle.

WAS SO MUCH OWED,
BY SO MANY,
TO SO FEW!”
